Bottom Drains

Bottom drains create a constant suction force to remove fish waste and other debris from the bottom of your pond so that it will not built up.  Does your pond smell like rotting eggs?  That means that there are areas in your pond that water isn't flowing through, like areas full of fish waste and debris.  Anaerobic bacteria are in those areas and they produce the gas that creates the bad smell.  By the way, that gas is Hydrogen Sulfide, and it's very toxic to fish.
