When do your new shipments of Koi arrive?
We usually go to Japan to select the Koi in October and in March. The Koi are shipped to us a couple weeks after we return from Japan. We quarantine the new arrivals for about a month. After the quarantine period, the new arrivals are ready.
Koi Shipment Schedule
October: We are in Japan selecting the larger Koi (2+ year olds).
November: The new Koi are shipped to Minnesota where they will quarantines
for about a month.
December: The Koi are out of quarantine and are available for viewing.
March: We are in Japan selecting the smaller Koi (1 year olds).
April: The new Koi are shipped to Minnesota where they will quarantines for
about a month.
May: The Koi are out of quarantine and are available for viewing.
